IBM’s proprietary event management and broadcasting platform designed to help IBM teams plan and execute events
Designed for IBMers, Business Partners and Clients to have one platform to register for the event, sign up for local watch party locations, customize their agenda, view and track data, receive BluePoints and more.
Problem: Previously, the team was using too many different and expensive tools to create, manage, host, and track data. Users were confused with where to go, how to sign up, and were being sent to multiple different WebEx links for breakout sessions.
Solution: One dashboard now for select admins to create the event, update the agenda and data implementation, ability to filter by type (IBMer or Business Partner), geo, market, job role, registered vs attended and watch party location and ability to download source. Users are also able to sign up to the event, sign up for local watch parties and interact on “Play” feature during the event.

Types of filters and data available through event app
Data points tracked are number of attendees, watch time, comments and ratings, and registration. For watch time, we tracked the average watch time total, average watch time by geo, and compared the previous SKO. For comments and ratings, admin users are able to view a word cloud of responses, comments by rating, and comments by geo. Currently in the process of adding Watsonx to this section to summarize the comments using AI.
